Priority Guide Towards Patients Bedside

Often times , nurses tend to visit the bedside of their patient not fully prepared  for what is to come. Hence the need t for guiding priority  on how to get the best experience out of patients care. Nurses play significant role in effective prevention and management of NCD-ICN

Dr Frances Hughes, Chief Executive Officer of the International Council of Nurses (ICN) , represented nursing at the Stakeholder Forum - First WHO Global Meeting of National NCD Programme Managers and Directors organised by the WHO Global Coordination Mechanism on non - communicable diseases (NCDs) on 16 - 17 February 2016.  At the meeting, Dr Hughes presented examples of primary health care (PHC) models from different regions in which nurses play a significant role in effective prevention and management of NCDs. Examples presented included advanced practice nurses leading nurse - led models of care; the use of eHealth to deliver NCD care; nurse - run community health assessments to detect cardiovascular disease ; and frontline nurses integrating mental health care into PHC. National Maternity Review in England was launched!

The National Maternity Review England was Launched on 22nd February 2016! the report information were gathered through several investigations which includes women and their families, and other bodies in care of labour and delivery. SUN and SAHO reach bargaining agreement for Nursing practice

The province’s largest nursing union now has a tentative four-year collective bargaining agreement. According to a press release sent to media late Thursday night, the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations Inc. and the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses have signed a memorandum of agreement for a tentative four-year collective bargaining agreement.  “I am pleased to report that in a relatively short period of time the parties were able to reach an agreement,” said Richard Hornung, special mediator in a release.
