New book: "Telemedicine - challenges and practices

A new book has been published, giving an overall outlook on the use and perspectives of telemedicine and documenting how telemedicine works. The book is authored by Pierre Simon, nephrologist and pioneer of teledialysis in France and also president of the French Society of Telemedicine from 2010 until 2015. Strategic Direction on Nursing and Midwifery (2016-2020)

The World Health Organization ( WHO ) moved on to the Strategic Direction on Nursing and Midwifery 2016-2020 after the Strategic Directions for Strengthening Nursing and Midwifery—2011-2015 ended. The 2011-2015 Strategic direction focused on Universal coverage and people-centered health care with the vision of "Improved health outcomes for individuals, families and communities through the provision of competent, culturally sensitive,evidence based nursing and midwifery services".
